MLM Blogging – Awesome Blogging ROI = ME x YOU

July 17, 2010 in Blog, MLM Blog, mlm blogs by Rose Mis

“How You Do Anything Determines How You Do Everything ~ T. Harv Eker”… It really is all about “ME” and how I “BE” in the world.

Last week I did a post about the “attractiveness” of Core Authenticity in your MLM Blogging. That post “attracted” Faith Barnard. Faith is a very empowered Network Marketer who has been studying Ty Tribble’s MLM Blog Secrets and Blog Code and has gotten tremendous benefit from the course. Faith talks about all of the benefits that she has received from Ty’s course on HER blog and even takes HER conversation further by talking about “HEO” and the critical role that plays in effective MLM Blogging. Faith also  shot a video about what she learned from Ty’s course and put that on both her blog and her YouTube Channel. What impresses me about Faith is that she does what she recommends that everyone else do and that is VERY attractive to other people because it shows them that it CAN be done simply and easily.

Simple and easy duplication is a key ingredient to success in Network Marketing, MLM and MLM Blogging.

We all know that “perfect” duplication doesn’t exist. But, our job as leaders is to make sure that the “duplication” process happens as quickly and as often as possible within our teams. The quickest way to do that is to help the newest people on our teams gain clarity about what they have in their hands and help them move forward quickly.

For anyone that is considering “attraction based internet marketing” as a key building block in their business model, showing them how to do it quickly and easily is CRITICAL. Setting up an optimized, niche targeted blog is not difficult. Getting established properly on Facebook and Twitter is not difficult. Expanding outwards from there is not difficult. All of this can literally been done in a couple of weeks and then built upon over time. If this is something that you are encouraging your people to do, encourage them to work together as a team to help one another as you lead the way by showing, helping and supporting them.

MLM Blogging is a long-term investment into building a proper internet business presence. It does not happen overnight. It does not happen in 2 or 3 weeks. It usually takes about 3-4 months for an MLM Blog to get any sort of traction on the internet at all. And then another 6 months of disciplined blogging to start seeing results … and results are optins to an email list or sales that come about because of your blogging.

By working together as a blogging team, you can help shorten the amount of time it takes for traction and results to happen.

Awesome Blogging ROI = ME x YOU

Let’s take a look at what that equation means:

  • I write a blog post that has good, valuable content
  • I tell my team members about it
  • My team members comment on the post, they Facebook it, they Twitter it, they go to my YouTube Channel … etc
  • This is content syndication  – my information is multiplied by the number of people that push it our into their networks which gets more eyeballs on the information …. this is what Ty teaches and what the Tribe Syndication Association is all about
  • All of a sudden, new people OUTSIDE of the “syndicate” see the information and it gets distributed even further AND new relationships are started … a perfect example of this is what happened when Faith Barnard found my information, commented on it, then made mention of it on her blog and now I am recycling all of that “good karma” back to HER …
  • And everyone does the same for each other … the results are HUGE exposure, multiplication AND duplication … the Law of Reciprocity in full force … EVERYONE wins !!

Fundamentally this is very obvious and everyone “gets it”.

But my biggest question is, “Why, if so many people “get it”, don’t they do it?”

Ty Tribles’s results speak for themselves. I see too many Dead MLM Blogs out there … typically abandoned after just 90 days and that statistic doesn’t lie. People are bailing out on Facebook and Twitter “because they don’t work”. Don Crowther’s new information from Social Profit Formula states that Facebook has close to 500,000 million users ( if it were a country, it would be the third largest country in the world) and that if a six month plan of implementation is put in place, the results are astonishingly profitable. And, one of the keys to leveraging the power of  Social Networking is your blog.

With so many great blogging and social networking courses out there designed for all skill levels, with so many great services out there that provide a ready made “team” if someone doesn’t have one already, why do you think so many people are not capitalizing on the leverage blogging affords them?

Would love to hear your thoughts, opinions and solutions … there’s lots of space in the comment box below :-)

Hope that you have received some AWESOME value from this post !!

MLM Blogging – Independence Day 2010

July 4, 2010 in Blog, MLM Blog by Rose Mis

Fireworks Rose Mis NYC

Many of the folks here in the US are celebrating Independence Day this long weekend. Fun, sun, beach, BBQ’s, fireworks, friends, family … My question is; How many people are truly celebrating INDEPENDENCE? FREEDOM? LIBERATION? or simply just a few days away from their boss, their job, the daily grind? And I am sure you are wondering what this has to do with being an MLM Blogger, right? Read on!

A Really Skinned Down Independence Day Refresher

In June 1776, the leaders of the American Revolution sat down to draw up the Declaration of independence. Those were rough times. The 13 original colonies were fighting for their freedom from England and her taxation without representation policies. Two of the most well known signers of the Declaration of Independence were Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin. They presented the final draft of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. It was on that day, the 13 colonies declared their independence from England and spoke a new nation into existence.

Was it easy for the new nation to maintain her freedom? Hardly. There ensued 8 years of of war, bloodshed, death, intense hardship; culminating in the British formally abandoning any claim to the US by signing the Treaty of Paris in 1783. During those long hard 8 years, the citizens of the 13 colonies stuck together, unified by certain truths

“that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights – Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness”

These folks were prepared to give everything they possessed, including their lives, and many of them did that, so that they, their families and their country could be FREE and INDEPENDENT,  to have a say and control over how their lives were going to be lived. By their very acts, generations of Americans have been able to live freely and independently. This lifestyle has gone on to inspire and ignite the possibility of freedom and autonomy for people in every corner of the world. Freedom is not free.  It comes with a price and we should all cherish and be grateful for what we have. America is VERY a special country.  And I love and honor her and all of the people that live here!

Let’s Take A Walk Together Down Main Street USA July 4, 2010

Lots of Main Streets all over the US are all gussied up for the 4th. Red, white and blue EVERYWHERE. If you take the time to look behind the banners and streamers, you will see lots of Mom and Pop shops boarded up and closed for business. Take the time to listen to the side conversations that people are having in between the music. You will hear words of FEAR and DESPERATION. You can see the stress that working 80, 90, 100+ hours a week is having on lots of folks, good folks. People are ANGRY and with good reason. The AMERICAN DREAM that our forefathers spoke into being all those many years ago is vaporizing right before everyone’s eyes.

“People don’t wake up and consciously decide to live little, weak, angry lives. They don’t decide to live a life of work-to-pay bills and be sad. THAT takes YEARS of trial and error!”

Your MLM Blog Is Your Internet Water-Cooler On The Freedom Trail

Have you ever worked anywhere that has a water-cooler? I have. Water-coolers are the working world’s social equivalent of a mini cocktail party. People go to the water-cooler to hang out and chit chat enjoying a quick ten minute respite from the phones, the boss, the inbox … whatever. They catch up with their peers and get all the juicy news. It usually is a lower stress point in the day. What happens when people start ratcheting up the stress level at the water cooler? Most folks will just turn around and walk right back to whatever stress filled situation they left to catch a break from for a couple of minutes.

Is your MLM Blog a fun water-cooler to be hanging out around? Or, is it one of those really high pressure places  that just makes people want to go back to their own misery and not even consider the possible FREEDOM you could offer them if only they could relax enough to read what you have to say? What if you could create an environment with your blog that was so much fun and served people so well that even those frightened, angry and confused people calmed down and truly engaged with you while reading your information.  What if you were able to HELP people see something outside of their current reality and they started dreaming again?

There is always a price for FREEDOM. YOUR freedom and mine depends on how many other people we serve well while they choose to travel along  with us on the Freedom Trail. We really do have to go the extra mile. We really do have to OVER-DELIVER on the “How can I best serve you today” part. People remember those kind of things. When we make life better for them, we get  “credit” deposited in our Freedom Fighter Account.  We also get a whole lot of know, like and trust points from those people. And the more of those that we have, the easier it becomes for those people to naturally follow and partner with us in whichever direction we go.

Take a look at what happened to England when she did not treat the Colonists as anything other than a revenue source. England did not listen, she did not respect and she did not serve the Colonists. She only demanded from them. And they resisted her mightily. The Colonists were prepared to DIE for the right to be FREE from England’s unfair treatment. England REPELLED the source of a significant portion of her income, while America was attracting more and more FREEDOM FIGHTERS. America opened her arms wide and said to the world,

“Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free. The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

And they came … they are still coming !!

That’s how our MLM blogs should make people feel; safe, protected, comfortable and valued. Alexa rankings are great. SEO is important. Keywords are very important as well. But, the most critical thing about your mlm blog is HOW you make other people feel when they read what you write and how well they are served by the information you give them !!

Hope that you have received some AWESOME value from this post !!

I wish you and yours a FANTASTIC 4th of July ~ INDEPENDENCE ROCKS

MLM Blog Secrets – Interview With Ty Tribble About Blogging For Prospects – Part 2

June 15, 2010 in Blog, MLM Blog, MLM Interviews, mlm by George Fourie

Following up on Part 1 of the interview with Ty Tribble about Blogging for prospects, Ty continues to share more information about MLM Blogging.

There has been a lot of buzz happening around Facebook and Twitter about the actual launch of MLM Blog Secrets.

And for a very good reason of course!

It’s only really in the last few years that MLM Blogging has gone (almost) mainstream. A blog is slowly becoming the one sacred piece of online property that every network marketer needs to build their personal brand and a thriving network marketing business.

One thing that stood out for me while talking to Ty was the importance of having a blog as your central hub. Yes, it’s talked about often, but it’s the only piece of property that you get to control online.

There has been so many Google / Youtube and Facebook slaps and they will continue to grow while marketers push boundaries of what’s possible on these social sites.

Scary fact is that all these sites are really ‘rental properties’, and you landlord can kick you out whenever he / she feels like it.

Same as with your replicated company website, who knows what might happen to you or them?

They might disappear, or you might change your focus.

The old style of marketing means that you lose EVERYTHING with your downline and your company keeps all your data and hard work.

Where as if you follow the methods taught in MLM Blog Secrets, Base your brand on YOU, your MLM Blog and your list, it doesn’t matter where you decide to go or what you choose to do.

If you have a blog with loyal readers and a list that you’ve built a relationship with over time, you can rebuild a company / downline literally within weeks.

This have been proven time and time again.

Enjoy the interview. Is there anything that stood out for you? Or are there any ideas that have become clear to you and your direction online by watching these interviews?

Please leave your comments below.

MLM Blog Secrets – Interview With Ty Tribble About Blogging For Prospects – Part 1

June 11, 2010 in Blog, MLM Blog, MLM Interviews, MLM Show Videos by George Fourie

MLM Blog Secrets

Being an MLM Blog fanatic, it was an complete honor to get an interview on thatMLMbeat.TV with one of the most influential bloggers of the network marketing industry, and  in my opinion the Father of MLM blogging, Ty Tribble.

Ty started blogging about network marketing at a time when most people never even knew what the word ‘blog’ meant. In this time he has completed more than 5,000 posts, which averages at about 2 blog posts per day.

That is some SERIOUS consistent blogging!

So naturally, if there is anything that you need to know on the topic of MLM Blogging, Ty is the one to be asking.

There is one thing in this industry that I take really seriously, and that is to choose your mentors wisely.

One of my mentors on personal development drilled this into my head quite some time ago. There are simply far too many ‘experts’ in network marketing teaching you how to be successful without the experience to back it up.

While it’s important for leaders to step up and become leaders, it’s more important to follow in the footsteps of those who have achieved real, proven results.

Off the topic, but personally I think this is the biggest cause of MLM Failure, choosing the wrong leadership.

And when it comes to MLM Blogging, nobody to the best of my knowledge has achieved the outstanding results that Ty has.

Ty was  the fastest distributor to reach a $100,000 income out of 50,000 distributors using his Blog as his core foundation.

Enough said! :) Enjoy the interview!

We were suppose to chat for 10 minutes, but we got a little carried away. And as you can imagine, there was no way that I was going to cut the interview short.

Watch out for part 2 of this interview which should be up soon.

After many requests from our members, Ty agreed to answer a few blogging questions personally for thatMLMbeat members. You can watch the video here where Ty shares his MLM blog secrets.

Last, but definitely not least, you can grab Ty’s three free online training dvd’s about Blogging For Prospects.

MLM Blog Secrets – Ty Tribble PERSONALLY Answers MLM Blog Questions [Video]

MLM Blog Secrets

It’s not everyday that you get the Top MLM Blogger, Ty Tribble, to share his MLM Blog Secrets to anyone who simply asks. That’s exactly what Ty did for our thatMLMbeat community!

Many questions came up on the topic of MLM Blogging after everyone watched the 2 part exclusive interview with Ty Tribble on thatMLMbeat.TV on Wednesday and Thursday evening.

Some from network marketing bloggers just starting out and a few questions from more experienced bloggers who just needed advice for a change in direction and strategy.

I spoke to Ty afterwards and to my surprise he agreed to answer everyone’s questions PERSONALLY on video as mentioned in this post about Blogging For Prospects.

Another 20 minutes of rock solid training from Ty!

Between the 2 part interview, this 20 minutes questions and answers and the HIGHLY recommended free videos available about Ty’s MLM Blog Secrets, I am completely blown away and impressed!

All I can add to this is… enjoy and be sure to soak it all up! :)

So how do you feel about the videos so far?

Did you get much value from them? Anything in particular that grabbed your attention or is there any stumbling block that you just managed to clear out the way?

MLM Blogging – Metrics and Management, The M & M’s of Your Blog’s Effectiveness (Part One)

May 16, 2010 in Blog, MLM Blog, mlm by Rose Mis

Eddie Van Halen’s Brown M & M story illustrates the importance of having and using systems and tools that allow you to know if there are potential problems looming on the horizon. Once something has been identified as a potential hazard, it usually is fairly simple to evaluate the supporting data and create an effective plan of corrective action.

When it comes to analyzing your MLM blog’s effectiveness, every network marketer should be using analytics of some sort.

I personally use Google Analytics. Google Analytics provides you with information about how people found your site, how they explored it, and how you can enhance their visitor experience. With this information, you can improve your blog’s return on investment, increase options and conversions, and make more money marketing on the internet.

WordPress has a wonderful plugin, Google Analyticator, that allows you to easily add Google Analytics tracking support to a WordPress-powered blog. It supports all of the tracking mechanisms that Google Analytics supports:

  • external link tracking
  • download tracking
  • advanced user generated tracking mechanisms
  • and a whole lot more

Google Analyticator works with most of the popular themes out there as long as those themes provide the proper plugin support.

Google Analytics Simplified

The first time I was told it would be very helpful to use Google Analytics on my blog, I got a migraine. (Pro Chef turned network marketer turned MLM blogger and now this too … Good Lord … does it really have to be this complicated ? Can you tell that I am techno ditz? ;-) ) Turns out that once I got used to the tool, I fell in love with it. The amount of information that I can garner from the reports is really surprising and VERY helpful.

In the beginning though, I made it really simple for myself by focusing on only one specific thing to track and measure. I also included this analysis as part of my weekly method of operation.  I always reviewed the information with the following questions in mind:

  • What relevant conclusions can I draw from this information?
  • What can I do to improve these results?
  • How can this information help me serve my readers better and increase the number of readers to my blog?

Google Analytics Defined

Google Analytics is a free service provided by Google that gives you reports on your website traffic. This tool allows you to see what visitors are doing on while they are on your blog, which pages are most popular, how long people stay on your blog, where your visitors are coming from and a whole lot more.

Setting Up Google Analytics

This really is a very simple procedure. Go to the Google Analytics page and follow the very easy sign up process that has been laid out. If you already have a Gmail account (or another type of account with Google, AdWords for instance) you can skip this step.

Once you’re registered, you will be given a snippet of Javascript code that you insert into the html of your blog. Google Analytics uses this code to collect information about visitors and track data, such as where site visitors come from, what they do, and whether they complete any conversion goals.

Using the Google Analyticator plug in makes this super simple to do and allows you to see your statistics information from within your WordPress dashboard.

  • Simply set up your Analytics account with Google.
  • Go back to your WordPress blog, install and activate the Google Analyticator plugin from within your dashboard, click the link to authenticate the plugin with your analytics account.
  • When you do that, you will be taken to another page that asks you to “grant access”, click grant access, and you will be returned to the same page.
  • Then you will need to enable your Google Analytics logging at the top of the page
  • Select your site name from the drop down menu
  • Be sure to CLICK the SAVE CHANGES BUTTON

And you are DONE !! (No Advil required :-) )

Here’s What Your Dashboard Will Look Like Every Time You Login From Now On

Since I only covered how I get the METRICS for my blog in this post, I will show you how I use this information, the MEASUREMENTS, to help improve my blog’s performance next week.

Hope that you received some real value from this post! Be sure to leave some comments. And take a minute to share it with YOUR Tribe!!

Tribe Syndication – What To Know And What Not To Do

May 14, 2010 in Blog, MLM Show Videos, MLM videos by George Fourie
