Alan Jenkin

Hello, my name is Alan Jenkin. I am an active, creative, visionary entrepreneur who loves exotic foods, live theater, healthy activities, water sports and live music and hates junk food, most television, doing nothing, cold weather and elevator music.

Educated in the UK, with an MA in Physics from Oxford University, I spent most of my adult career as a consultant to the oil industry. Apart from long term assignments in UK, Australia and the US, I was fortunate enough to travel to many countries, and worked on projects on all continents except Antarctica. Now retired, I live by a lake in Texas with a second home by the water on a Caribbean island. Married to a Texas author, I have four grown children, two grown stepchildren and five grandchildren.

My wife Billie has co-authored two best-selling books and published her own children’s book. That book – The Knock-Kneed Cowboy: A Tale of Being “Just Right”… Just As We Are – empowers kids to develop self-acceptance. Like me, Billie loves to travel and enjoys sailing and SCUBA diving in exotic locations.

If you know anyone who is afraid of flying, I’ll be glad to travel with them. At the age of 20 I survived a plane crash, and can’t imagine that I could ever be in two plane crashes – the statistics against that are astronomical! I’m enough of a statistician to know that’s meaningless, but the gift in the accident was that it left me with a profound sense of gratitude for life and all it has to offer.

My mission is to use my talents to inspire others to take charge of their lives and realize their full potential. My dream is to sail the Western Caribbean for an extended island-hopping trip. My goal is to create five new millionaires in the next five years.
