We are Moving – This is Our Last Post!

If you have been a reading our exciting posts for quite sometime, you might have realized that the frequency of our blog posts have slowed down dramatically.

On face value it might seem as if we are slowing down, but believe me: It’s the calm before the storm!

Right now our developers are hard at work crafting a state of the art platform that will compliment the network marketing industry in numerous ways.

And no, we are not talking about another hyped up self promotioning MLM blog, but rather a platform that will benefit any network marketer from any company or promoting any network marketing system.

To implement this with perfection, a few things need to change…

When we started thatMLMbeat, the idea was to keep the root directory (http://thatMLMbeat.com) open for future products. This is the reason our blog is hosted in the blog subdirectory, http://thatMLMbeat.com/blog.

To accomodate the platform for our multi user blog, we need to move our blog to the root directory.

Moving however will damage all our links that we have attracted to date, so rather than move, we will be starting fresh. http://thatMLMbeat.com/blog will still exist, but all widgets, contact information, etc will redirect back to the root where our new blog will be hosted.

Quite a pain to implement, but well worth it as you will soon come to realize.

All the content will stay in it’s place, but this will be the very last post on http://thatMLMbeat.com/blog. :(

The good news is that all our readers and entrepreneurs will be able to connect within the community and be a part of the new thatMLMbeat!! :) :) :)

A New Economy In Internet Network Marketing

The economy is in poor shape, but it certainly doesn’t mean YOU have to be.  While manufacturing, construction and even banking jobs are harder than ever to come by, internet network marketing is booming!

Imagine yourself 10 or 15 years ago. Perhaps you had the perfect idea for a small business, but didn’t have any kind of advertising budget. Back then you also had to have a place to work from that would drive your overhead through the roof. However, now through , you can make your small business dreams come true with very little overhead! You can work from home marketing your ideas and have access to millions of people through the internet, greatly leveraging your time and efforts!

The truth is, being in a recession spurns ideas and competition. With internet and network marketing at the fingertips of this US economy, it’s easy to see where the next great surge will come from. internet network marketingIdeas that would have been hard to take to market some years ago can now be driven forward at the spearhead of a great online marketing campaign. And the great thing about this is it isn’t like having a yard sale. Not only can you sell your products to people in your region or country, but you can sell your ideas worldwide!

Another great thing about internet network marketing is you can be involved even while you have a day job. You don’t have to drive anywhere. You just come home from your day job, hop on the computer and start working on your objectives for your online MLM business. Eventually, you’ll be making a great supplemental income. People use one or more of the three marketing strategies to generate income in an business:

The first marketing strategy involves not having much time to do your job. People overwork themselves and spend too much time in their J.O.B in order to make more money, and end up being stressed, tired, and miss a lot from their life and families. This usually doesn’t work well, making for a very frustrated life.

The second marketing strategy involves investing money in order to generate more income. This marketing strategy works well with leveraging.

The third marketing strategy is the secret to success in affluent people, which is leveraging. This involves generating income based on all the people you build relationships with online, better known as your multiple income sources.

Referral marketing and relationship marketing is what is required; and generating the stream of income also depends on demand as well as marketing principles. Through network marketing, people can work a job they enjoy doing as they watch income accumulate in their bank account. This allows them to create their own job to fit their personality and needs. Therefore, by sponsoring others and helping them succeed in internet network marketing, you help yourself succeed and generate more income in your MLM business.

For years network marketers have understood that posture and positioning are everything; but today it’s all taken to another level, where everything happens online and seeing your name rank in Google is a largely rewarding goal.

Personal branding is no longer owned just by the famous. It’s a powerful concept that targets everyday people and is extremely important if you want to monetize using the internet.

Here are 5 crucial action steps to crafting your personal brand on the internet:

First Things First -Get a Personal Domain Name!

See if your name is available and if it is, GRAB IT! If not, remember you’re trying to promote yourself, not another company. You can find reasonably inexpensive domains at places like GoDaddy or Omnis.

Give Yourself a Home

Make this domain your “online home”, such as a personal blog where you can express your personality, create a following, and interact with your visitors. There are all kinds of widgets and applications you can use on your blog to create a community, get discussions going, and socially interact with your readers. Applications like TWITTER, Google Friend Connect, My BLogLog, and ChatToText are some well-known ones, just to name a few.

Always Use Your Real Name and Picture

Avoid using keywords for your name and pictures of money or sunsets to replace your face. You’re here to build relationships with people and you never know when you’ll come across your next business partner. So always try to keep it real, which helps build connection and trust. I don’t know how many times I’ve glazed over profiles with pictures of anything and everything other than an actual human face with generic names like “Make Fast Money Online” or “Internet Success”. To me, that right there just spells a pushy marketer; and I’m thinking “spam” right off the bat. First impressions are important.

Deliver Value to Your Market

The best way to brand your name online isn’t to endlessly pitch your products all over your blog. Overdosed self-promoting is a big No-NO and will turn people away fast! Instead, be a leader, a teacher, and the one to provide guidance and value to your target market. That will ensure you a respectable “branding” and create repeat visitors.

Understand It Doesn’t Stop There

We’d all like to think that just putting up a great personal website will attract an endless influx of leads. But this is just the beginning. Now you have to get out there in the world of social networking and interact, make friends, and help the community. The personal branding process takes time and effort. Remember you are trying to promote yourself, NOT a company or URL given to you by a business you’re involved in. What’s Attraction Marketing Got To Do With Dating?

I don’t know about you but I’ve seen excellent examples of attraction marketing in the online world and some terrible examples of attraction marketing which make me cringe…

I’ve also seen friends of mine (no, not me….friends) do a very good job of scaring their new date away within a few weeks of meeting them.

You can apply good old fashioned attraction marketing to dating.

Lets look at it from both sides….

First, John meets Sarah in a bar….he approaches her and begins talking to her. Sarah quite likes the look of John but he seems a bit over keen! At the end of the evening he asks for her number and they part company.

That night he sends her a quick text to say thanks for a good night.

The next day he calls her up 3 times to say he’s been thinking about her and asks if he can meet her again for a drink.

By now, Sarah is getting bored….there is no excitement, she knows she’s got him, but for some reason she just isn’t interested.

Over the next week John calls and texts Sarah numerous times until eventually Sarah goes off him completely.

John just can’t understand why. (Do you know why?)

This happens a lot online when we are ‘trying’ to use attraction marketing to

build our MLM business.

People try TOO HARD. They plaster their link on other peoples’ Facebook wall, send unsolicited emails, bombard people with emails, phone calls, add blatant advertisements to forums and blog comments and they don’t realize how desperate they look!

They wonder why they’re not sponsoring anyone into their business.

It’s all down to the way you do it.

Little by little, piece by piece, you build up a relationship with the other person. Eventually you become friends, you help them out with various things, and you chat and exchange ideas.

People want to get to know you….NOT your opportunity. Once they know you and can see you are a very helpful person and can help them achieve their goals and dreams they will join your business.

Take your time with this part. Don’t make friends with the sole aim of ‘getting someone into your business’, do it because you sincerely want to learn more about the other person.

Let them come to you…keep them in suspense about what you do. You can tell them what you do but DON’T send them the actual link in the first email.

Ask their permission first and get to know them a little better.

If you’ve managed to make a good first impression, you’ll see people actually find your websites by looking at your profile. Take Facebook for example…..I make friends with people, people like what I have to say….I don’t pressure them or spam my link. They then go to my profile and click on the link and next thing I know, they’re leaving me a comment on my blog.

This is attraction marketing. Be the hunted, not the hunter. Let them come to you and don’t hassle people. Treat others as you’d like to be treated yourself.

It’s Brand Spanking New Out of The Box!

The New thatMLMbeatOkay, almost there…

This last week has been a little technically challenging between moving hosting accounts and changing themes, but here we are back again.

So question is:

How does it look? How do you feel about our theme change? You like it?

I think there are a few elements still missing, but overall I think that our thesis theme has HUGE potential. Wait until you see what’s being added to thatMLMbeat!

In the process of moving to another hosting account, a few of our quality blog posts went missing. Well, probably about a months worth. We will be adding them back manually to ensure that you don’t miss out on anything.

So What’s REALLY Happening at thatMLMbeat?

Whats Happening - thatMLMbeatIf you are somewhat curious about our self proclaimed ever so famous emELLem jOE (the guy in our blog header and MLM Evolution Animation), who the team is behind thatMLMbeat and what we are up to, then this is for you.

At first, thatMLMbeat’s purpose was to be a ‘Team Network Marketing Blog’ with multiple internet and network marketing professionals contributing content while everyone shared the traffic and revenue generated.

This was and still is a great idea for any team working together within .

And now I’m thinking, more groups should get together and do this. Why all work in the same MLM business but compete against each other?

Rather, why not focus on your strengths and let a fellow team member conquer your weaknesses?

This initial idea has been the spark to something we believe will be exceptionally brilliant.

Anyway that’s my 2 cents! :)

Let me share with you a portion of my story…

In January 08, I decided to dedicate my life and passion internet and network marketing full time. This was also one major turning point in my career with valuable lessons learned.

The first one was duplication. Yes, I could sponsor, but I had a hard time duplicating my efforts. I know I’m not the only one that has hit this brick wall.

Most MLM Systems at that time were too complex for most people and it was only in August 08 I found one that was easy to duplicate.

With that in mind, I’ve always thought:

  • How do you develop a platform to benefit the masses?
  • What can you put in place to get online network marketers earning money straight off the bat?
  • How can we help give network marketers the online presence and exposure they need?
  • How do we do this without competing against MLM systems and network marketing companies but rather complimenting them?

That right there is a tall order, but asking these questions has been the motivation behind the development of a platform and network which we believe is set to shake up the network marketing industry.

It’s also helped attract a group of top network marketers, Maggie, Katie, Joyce and Gavin to thatMLMbeat.
