Yeah. I know and have heard about such things.

Also another news I read about in another blog states that Google is going to disallow Adwords for MLM, Network marketing site? Have you heard of that?

If that is the case, it’s high time we looked for alternatives sources of traffic

Hi Nicholas,

Yes I have and I must admit, at first glance it’s a scary thought for any online marketer. Personally I try not to get caught up in it all.

I guess if one has a balance of ethical marketing and link building strategies like you have on http://MLMabsolute.com, there is no reason to be concerned with a ’social slap’. For those that rely purely on Web 2.0 strategies and especially those that have abused the benefits will surely face a few challenges.

Proves once again that solid, long term marketing strategies pay off and the quick fixes only last for a very short time. (and one quick fix takes one to the next quick fix!)

As far as Adwords go, I found that I was having a few problems with quality scores about 6 months ago with various affiliate programs and targeting keywords that were relevant from a marketing perspective, but not directly relevant within the content.

I suspected that Adwords would become more focused on relevant content in the same way they assess normal SEO rankings. It seems to be a good assumption, but hey, who knows?:)

Jim Yaghi wrote a great post about the slap on Google Adwords, you can read more about it here

Hope that helps,

George
