Article Marketing SecretsThe quality content in article writing sets the stage to giving your readers the targeted information they want. Let me share with you one of the biggest article marketing secrets for building your online web presence. Whether you are driving traffic to your network marketing blog or MLM opportunity website, this arms you with another powerful method to build your internet and network marketing business.

This is done through your Resource Box– a small bit of formatted text, usually placed at the end of the article, that gives the reader information on how they can find out more about you, your products, or services.

Each directory you submit your article to will have their own guidelines, so you should always look at what styles of resource boxes are being used in each particular directory.  This will enable you to effectively target your message and give yourself an increased chance with a particular publisher.  Some might try to maintain a very professional tone, and others may allow you to get wild and crazy with it.

Regardless, here are are few imperative components to creating a compelling resource box that will turn your readers into leads and subscribers:

1.  The headline or opening statement steals their attention. Just as a classified ad might, the opening statement gives a promise of a substantial benefit they’ll receive or a serious problem they’ll avoid by taking action NOW.

2.  The body of the resource box builds interest after grabbing their attention. This is done by providing a very small bit of enticing information that constructs on the promise that was made in the headline–usually a result or concrete evidence supporting that promise, or building tension to avoid the problem.

3.  A “closer” is used to drive your reader to action. This can be done with something as simple as “click here for a free report” or “click here for more information”; and then you link the call to action to a website–ideally to a lead-capture or money page.

Here is an example of a compelling resource box:

“Do you have the magical marketing techniques that can help you quit YOUR day job? Are you ready to drive MASSIVE traffic to your website? My newly released ebook will take you step-by-step through some of the most powerful strategies to get your network marketing business off the ground.  CLICK HERE for your FREE copy.”

Your resource box is ultimately the “cash register” of your content; and the quality of it determines your success at taking those readers and shifting them into the sales funnel of your website.
