What Do Cautious Types Like?

Cautious types need to know exact details, specification, rules and want data. They have lots of questions and want to understand everything as completely as possible. They are often perfectionist with high attention to detail and want to get it right. Just look at Martha Stewart. Who would have known you could mix plate designs for Thanksgiving dinner.

What Could Be An Issue?

Taken to extremes the Cautious type behavior can lead to procrastination. This is because the Caution person wants to have all the information available before making a decision. They don’t like illogical changes and are often difficult to please. Sometimes the cautious person seems cold but they only want what’s best and sometimes that means that your less than perfect solution just isn’t going to make it right for them.

The Cautious type might believe in Murphy’s Law: if something can go wrong it will. Sort of pessimistic and melancholy, the cautious type might also be easily offended, unsociable and critical.

Room for Improvement

Cautious persons can improve by realizing that all the information will never be available and that in the interest of human development judgment should be used when all the facts are unavailable.

Familiarize yourself with and get comfortable with the 80/20 rule, also known as the Pareto Principle, then make your move.

Working With A Cautious Type

It is always best to let people do what they do best. If you have any kind of procedural work to get done, where strict rules need to be followed, hire a Cautious person.

Out of all the 4 personality types the Cautious type people like a serious conversation, don’t want attention to be focused on them, and don’t like loud comments. Inspiring network marketers talking to Cautious prospects need to tone down the conversation so your prospects don’t run.

Knowing how much of each of the 4 personality types make up your personality, better prepares you to understand and communicate with everyone and make progress in your network marketing business. Recognize the traits of others and learn the best ways to communicate with them. Good luck in your self-studies.
